10/23/10: Expo Shanghai, China - Philippines and Thailand Pavilion. It had been a non-stop raining day but it was still crowded. I like the sea of umbrellas. I was wet head to toe and it wasn't too good of a feeling.
05/03/10: Mission Peak, Fremont, CA. Spring is in the air, the hills are still green. What a blessing.... Only bringing my 55-200mm, I hike up the hill. I like the layers of green and the symmetry of the leaves.
04/30/10: Scanning some old pictures. This is the old school building @ Caine Road, Hong Kong. Looking down from the 3rd floor. The Jesus statue and the School Chapel. I like the flowers and the symmetry of the pictures.
02/06/10: St Joseph Monastery, Aptos, CA. Spiders living here... I did not notice the spider web when I took the picture. I thought the light shining on the wooden frame is pretty cool. The reflection on the spider web is even better.
01/30/10:Point Reyes National Seashore. Big waves looking down from the hike to lighthouse. It rained when we were driving there but gorgeous when we got there. Even winds are calm. Nice day to look for migrating whales.
It was sunny and bright.
Makes me want to bike.
Open the garage door
Then have to say uh-oh....
The bike still says "ride me"
I take the seat and be free
Little bit of sun and rain
Got to take some frame
These are the result
Not too bad, I doubt
10/07/09: Trying a moon picture. I took this using my point and shoot with flash. This is above the East Bay Hills from the Walmart parking lot in Milpitas, CA. I also cropped the image since I don't have enough zoom to remove the black sky and lamps in the parking lot.
04/23/09: I am scanning my old films and slides when I took as a kid. This was a self portrait. I can't guess my own age and I know I look younger than my age then. May be around 12?
Follow up: I think I got these shoes at 16.
02/04/09: I think my house attracts insects. I found a big bee in my house this morning hanging on the wall. I saw it on the sofa this evening. I took out a quarter and laid it by its side just to compare its size. It is not dead yet. It was moving but it was not too lively. After I took the picture, I took it out to the front and shake it to a bush. Bee free....
11/12/08: Foggy Night. There were more fog driving down 880 North at Milpitas but my camera is in my backpack behind the driver seat which I can not get to. The mood is less obvious here at home. I am using a tripod here so the everything is still sharp with 1 sec exposure.
